My best running month ever!
Ran 248km in February focusing on speed-work. Was able to hit a few PBs:
Yasso 800s (avg. 3:03/800m)
5KM in 19:44 (Garmin was a bit off with 19:27 so I extrapolated)
Half Marathon in 1:30:19
Target time is still 3:30-3:40 but I’ll dream of something better.
Regardless, I have a LOT of work ahead of me. This includes…
1) Rest for a week
2) Increase weekly mileage (72km, 80km, 90km, 100km)
3) 20miles long runs (LSD, progressive, hills)
4) Quality tempo runs (45mins, 60mins, 75mins)
5) Nutrition (daily, pre-race, hydration)
6) Marathon pacing on tired legs (5:10, 5:00, 4:50)
